Pass of transport is transport that does not use the cells energy.

Polarity affects the interactions between these molecules and water.
ReplyDeleteJacob Muzrim
higher concentration is concentration gradient which creates diffusion
ReplyDeleteShawn Charron
Carrier proteins have substances that spread through the membrane. There's a binding side on each carrier protein, it fits a specific substance. When the substance fits into place, the carrier protein changes shape. The substance is then released to the other side.

ReplyDeleteWhat I learned today was that there are 2 different kinds of Cells, Polar and Non-Polar.

higher concentration is concentration gradient which creates diffusion

Polar molecules and ions are repelled by the non polar interior of the phospholipid bilayer, so they cannot get through the cell membrane easily. They use channel and carrier proteins instead to get through.
ReplyDeleteDane Mulligan
There are two different kinds of molecules non polar and polar it depends on the arrangement in the molecule

ReplyDeleteOxygen and Carbon can't be mixed
ReplyDeleteThere are polar and non polar parts of the cell and the water is attracted to the polar part.
ReplyDeleteI learned that the membrane is made of phospholipid bi-layer.
ReplyDeletePassive transport does not use the energy of the cell.
ReplyDeleteI learned polarity affects the reactions between molecules and water
ReplyDeleteKatie Piasecki
ReplyDeleteI learned that their are two different kinds of molecules non polar and polar and that water is attracted to the polar molecule.
I learned there are different kinds of molecules

There are different types of molecules; polar and non polar.... some can pass through and other goes through channels.
ReplyDeleteI learned that there are two different kinds of molecules. Non-Polar and Polar. Water is attracted to a Polar molecule.
ReplyDeleteI learned that polarity affects the different reactions between molecules and water.
